The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers complexity, a fine/finely tight grain, a multi-layer side, intensity and a fine dry side. It reveals notes of dry Mirabelle, quince, small notes of small yellow berries associated with touches of tobacco, dry lemon, fine hints of spices and pepper. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers dynamism, energy, power as well as a small straightness and a small dry character. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of dry/Crushed yellow raisin, caramelized Mirabelle, caramelized quince, small notes of sugared mild tobacco associated with touches of pâtisseries, Pomme d’Amour, toasted, nutmeg, cigar box as well as a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). Good length.
