The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize as well as a small power. It reveals notes of caramelized peach, orangette, small notes of crystallized lemon, lemon zests associated with a hint of dry peach, small caramelized fruits, cedrat, a hint of rancio, a subtle hint of Zante currant as well as very discreet hints of spices, tobacco, nutmeg, toasted oak and an imperceptible hint of orange flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight, well-built, racy and offers a fine suavity, elegance, a fine gourmandize, a fine tension as well as a very fine aerial side. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of marmalade, crystallized mandarine, small notes of caramelized yellow peach associated with a hint of dry zests, candied lemon, lychee as well as discreet hints of Zante currant, pâtisserie, cedar wood, tobacco, grilled oak, coffee, rancio and an imperceptible hint of cocoa. Good length and persistence.
