The nose is fine, aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of Zante currant, dry white grapes, lemon zests and mandarin zests associated with slight touches of fruits in syrup as well as a touch of gray pepper, spices, caramelization (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant, a bit aerial and offers a slight juiciness, a slight acid frame, a slight minerality, tension, as well as a very slight straightness, a slight freshness as well as a slight gourmandise. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currant and apricot in syrup associated with slight touches of peach in syrup, quince, candied lemon, marmalade, rancio, cedar, caramelization as well as very discreet hint of almond, gray pepper, zests and an imperceptible grilled hint.
