Château de Moncets 2020, Lalande-de-Pomerol 

On the nose, fruity, fresh and offers elegance, and a floral side. It reveals notes of pulpy redcurrant and ripe blackberries associated with small touches of violet, lilac and small hints of blueberries, graphite, wafts of black pepper and a subtle touch of camphor. On the palate it is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a little sweetness as well as a certain precision and subtle tension. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/sparkling raspberry and more lightly violet combined with hints of lily, rose, bursting blackberries and wafts of cardamom, coffee, tonka bean and a discreet note of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. A discreet varietal touch in the persistence.
