The nose is fruity, elegant, racy with lovely definition and precision. It is powerful and intense in delicacy with notes of boysenberry, cooked blackcurrant and more slightly – violet, cornflower associated with touches of roasted berries with touches of star anise and a hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity with minerality and a certain tension. It has a tangy structure with precision and notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, raspberries and more lightly roasted cherries associated with touches of fairly ripe blueberries as well as hints of toast, star anise and minerality.
