Château de Meursault, Meursault-Perrières Premier Cru 2022 – Meursault Premier Cru

Château de Meursault, Meursault-Perrières Premier Cru 2022 – Meursault Premier Cru

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose offers precision, density, freshness and expressive lemony aromas. We find the aromas of fresh lemon, lemon zest and bitter orange in the background, combined with sweet notes of vanilla, toasted hazelnut, browned butter and fresh butter, as well as a delicate touch of nutmeg. There is also a juicy and fleshy side of stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot), a milky touch of lemon yogurt and notes of dried aromatic herbs and white flowers (acacia, honeysuckle). The palate is fresh and straight, with notes of lemon, grapefruit and green apple pulp on the attack, then complemented by notes of dried lemon, apricot, yellow peach and torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood, vanilla, a hint of coconut). The finish is persistent, lively and tangy, with gourmand notes of honey, vanilla and toast. Good persistence in the mouth, with good bitterness of grapefruit bitterness and salivating acidity. A harmonious, enveloping, precise, well-constructed, complex and concentrated wine, while remaining refined and airy.
