Château de Meursault, Meursault Les Charmes Dessus Premier Cru 2022 – Meursault

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is gourmand, buttery and toasty at the beginning. The first nose expresses notes of toasted hazelnut, fresh butter, brown butter, vanilla and fresh wood in the background. On the second nose, we find notes of lemon curd, lemon zest, fresh pineapple, tangy apricot, as well as apricot yogurt, acacia, honeysuckle and apple blossom, as well as only flower honey and wax in the background. The palate expresses woody notes in attack (we feel in particular the flavors of toasted wood, toasted hazelnut and fresh wood), then enveloped in fruity notes of apricot, yellow peach, fresh quince, fresh lemon, candied lemon. We also find a fragrant floral bouquet (apple blossom, acacia), as well as a milky touch of fresh butter and lemon yogurt. The finish offers the juiciness of stone fruits, refreshed by the lively and chiseled side of lemon and grapefruit and completed by gourmandise of toasted hazelnut, and brown butter). A lively and salivating acidity brings straightness and freshness to the wine.
