Château de Meursault – Meursault du Château 2023 – AOC Meursault

The wine has a beautiful bright straw color. The first nose is intense, woody, and fruity with notes of fresh apple, yellow peach, and nectarine. There are also subtle notes of clementine, vanilla, and butter. The second nose opens with more intensity, revealing minerality and the integration of the barrel with toast, vanilla, pine sap, and butter. The palate is fresh, with a nice acidity from the start. The wine has body and power with notes of toast, vanilla, and butter, but also touches of tangy fruit with juicy yellow peach, ripe lemon, clementine, fresh mango, and banana. There is a slight creaminess with lovely buttery notes. The finish is fresh and mouthwatering with notes of lemon blossom, butter, and quince.
