The wine has a lemon-yellow color of medium intensity with golden reflections. The nose is delicate and elegant. It expresses notes of juicy stone fruits (yellow peach, ripe apricot), lemon zest, candied citrus peel, fresh yellow lemon, crushed green apple, yellow melon as well as white flowers (field flowers, lemon blossom). The wine is subtly spicy, oaky and offers notes of vanilla, and ground cumin (in the background), as well as herbaceous touches (cut grass, fresh thyme, and a touch of peppermint). On the palate, the wine offers complexity, a lively acid structure and ripe fruit. It expresses the flavors of fresh lemon, freshly grated lemon zest, candied citrus peel, green apple, as well as fresh white flowers (wildflowers, acacia, apple blossom), a herbaceous touch (cut grass, crushed peppermint) and fine notes of spices (vanilla, very subtle hint of ground clove) and torrefaction (toasted bread, toasted wood). The finish is long and complex: it combines the lively notes of fresh citrus with hints of oak and sweet spices. Beautiful salivating acidity, a delicate bitterness and a honeyed note on the finish.
