The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose offers juiciness, tension and precision. It expresses notes of red cherry (even red cherry juice), raspberry, garnet juice, crunchy strawberry and fresh red currants, associated with spicy and woody notes that intensify after aeration (toasted, cocoa, licorice, a delicate hint of vanilla and cinnamon in the background). There is also a very light herbaceous touch of dried blackcurrant leaf and dried mint, as well as a sappy touch in the background. The palate is juicy, taut and chiseled. It expresses flavors of crushed red cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry and red currants, associated with a hint of herbaceous (dried mint), spicy (liquorice, white pepper), toasted and floral notes (violet). Tannins are silky and melted, but very perceptible. Nice acidity and good persistence in the mouth with a mineral and mentholated touch.
