The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers concentration and depth. It expresses notes of ripe and dense red and black fruits (griotte, red cherry, rosehip, raspberry coulis, wild strawberry, crushed blackcurrant, blackberry and wild blueberry), associated with a pronounced refined spiciness, which adds to the complexity some wine. We find in particular notes of sweet spices (clove, cinnamon, ground dried ginger, cumin), vanilla, licorice, a woody side (toasted hazelnut, toasted oak, coffee), refreshing floral and herbaceous touches (cornflower, lily, violet, mint, rosemary, tea leaf) and a delicate minerality. On the palate, the wine is ample, fleshy, warm and generous. It offers flexibility, thanks to its fruity side and the firmness of its tannic structure. It expresses the flavors of juicy red cherry, black cherry, crushed wild strawberry, wild plum, raspberry coulis, combined with notes of dried mint, rosemary, vanilla, licorice, cumin, nails. cloves, white pepper, as well as fresh flowers (cornflower, peony, wildflowers) with a fine hint of roasted meat and smoke in the background. The tannins are firm, young, a little grainy, but not drying thanks to the fruitiness and the salivating acidity of the wine. The finish is tangy, fresh and persistent. A refined but young wine to keep for several years.
