The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers density, complexity and gourmet toasted notes that appear on the first nose – toasted hazelnut (even with a hint of caramelized hazelnut) and toasted bread. Then we find sweet notes of ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, a hint of blackcurrant, as well as spices (crushed gray pepper, liquorice, a delicate hint of ground cumin and clove), aromatic herbs (dried rosemary, a touch, dried bay leaf and eucalyptus) and flowers (cornflower, lily). The palate offers precision, directness, juiciness and freshness. It expresses notes of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red cherry and blackcurrant, combined with hints of gray pepper, liquorice, nutmeg and clove, as well as toasted hazelnut, toasted bread and a fine herbaceous hint (dried mint, rosemary, tobacco). The finish is lively, juicy, tangy, with a mineral hint and a good bitterness in the background. Beautiful salivating acidity and silky tannins.
