The second nose opens with a touch of racy minerality and a slight reduction. Decanting is necessary. The palate is fresh, luscious, and fruity with good acidity on the attack. There are fresh fruits like morello cherry, blueberry, and juicy strawberry. The tannins are present all the way to the finish. There is a certain sweetness and roundness during the tasting with a silky touch. The finish is vanilla, with strawberry and juicy ripe morello cherry. There are also hints of pepper and peony.
