The wine has an intense and bright pale cherry color. The initial nose is fresh with toast, pine sap, and sweet spices. Fruits such as morello cherry and fresh blackberry are perceived. The second nose opens with a slight reduction: decanting is necessary. There is white pepper and a hint of dried tomato. The palate is fresh and fruity with acidity at the start and, above all, a beautiful minty freshness that continues in the mid-palate. Lovely bitterness accompanies the fruit notes such as juicy black cherry, blackberry, luscious blue plum, and vanilla toast. The tannins are present until the finish, sapid and almost licorice-like. The finish is fruity with notes of crisp blackberry and cherry juice.
