The wine has a bright pale cherry color. The initial nose is fresh with a smoky, toasted empyreumatic note. It has fruit like cherry and a sweet, minty spice side. The second nose opens with a certain racy minerality. Decanting is necessary. There are notes of juicy strawberry, pulpy morello cherry, and fresh mint, almost savory tomato juice. The palate is fresh, fruity, and sweet on the attack. There are notes of red fruits like morello cherry, strawberry, and a hint of raspberry. The tannins are present until the finish, with a slight salinity. The end of the tasting is delicious with a hint of sweet spices, toast, vanilla, and cranberry. It is long and bright.
