The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers a fine density, elegance, as well as a warm, textured and velvety touch. Beautiful aromatic, with a gourmet fruity expression and slightly sweet floral scents (peony, iris, rose). We also find notes of ripe morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry (with a hint of raspberry coulis), as well as a tangy hint of fresh red currants, associated with fine spicy notes (nutmeg, liquorice), roasting (toasted hazelnut, coffee), as well as a herbaceous hint of dried mint. The palate is tangy, juicy and fruity. It expresses notes of tangy bigarreau cherry, crushed raspberry, cranberries, blackcurrant and tangy strawberry, associated with notes of dried mint in the background, toasted hazelnut and a fine floral bouquet (rose, iris, lilac). The tannins are very fine and velvety, with a nice freshness, a lively acidity and a good bitterness on the persistence. Good length.
