The wine has a ruby color with very light garnet reflections. The nose is savoury and spicy: it expresses notes of torrefaction (ground coffee, toasted almond), roasted meat, cloves, liquorice (even star anise), as well as a refined bouquet of fresh flowers (violet, peony, lily). We also find the herbaceous freshness of wild mint, oregano and thyme, enveloped in a juicy fruitiness (tart red cherry, wild blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, crunchy strawberry). On the palate, the wine is ample, but refined, juicy and gourmand. It expresses notes of fresh and crushed strawberry, ripe raspberry, red cherry, blueberry, red currant, associated with notes of fresh mint, cut thyme, oregano, violet, lily, peony. In the middle and end of the palate, we find the spicy notes (vanilla, licorice, clove, cumin) and a hint of torrefaction (coffee, toasted oak) side. The tannins are delicate, fine. Good persistence and a good level of acidity. A fine and gourmand wine.
