Château de Meursault 2014 – Beaune-Grèves – 1er Cru

Château de Meursault 2014 – Beaune-Grèves – 1er Cru

The nose is aromatic, elegant and slight. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). It reveals notes of cassis cream, plum and slight notes of wild strawberry associated with hints of blackberry, woody hints, hints of tobacco, leather (discreet) as well as slight hints of liquorice and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, juicy, well-balanced, smooth and offers a very beautiful definition, fat as well as a very beautiful finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy plum associated with slight notes of crushed raspberry, Guariguette strawberry, juicy blueberries and discreet hints of zan, tobacco, caramelized oak and hints of Bourbon vanilla. Good length. Beautiful potential!
