Château de Meursault 2014 – Beaune-Fèves – 1er Cru

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy, slight and relatively powerful. It reveals earthy notes, woody notes, notes of plum, cherry and slight notes of blackberry associated with hints of leather as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and slight notes of minerality. The palate is fruity, elegant, silky and offers a very beautiful finesse, an acid frame, a beautiful suavity, a very beautiful definition as well as a good matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, juicy plum and slight notes of juicy redcurrant, raspberry associated with hints of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices and very slight hints of liquorice. Good length. There are slight notes of chocolate on the finish and the aftertaste. Very good potential!
