Château de Messey – Les Crèts 2015 – Mâcon-Chardonnay

The nose reveals notes of limestone/flint and slight notes of fresh physalis associated with slight touches of fresh citrus, fresh yellow peach as well as discreet touches of honey and almond/hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful fat, a beautiful roundness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a good definition, a slight acid frame, a racy minerality, a good freshness as well as a beautiful silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh physalis, fresh citrus (quince…) and slight notes of white fruits associated with discreet touches of honey as well as an imperceptible woody hint/almond. Good length.
