The nose is spicy and tight. There are notes of wild blackberry, wild berries and some blond tobacco combined with touches of spice as well as fine zan, a subtle hint of toasted almond, racy minerality, infusion (press) and a very discreet touch of pepper. The palate is mineral and shows tension, some straightness, a fine freshness, concentration, a fine unctuousness, harmony, a lot of press wine. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, raspberry and more lightly pulpy black plum combined with fine hints of pulpy/acidic red berries combined with hints of blueberry, lily as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, cardamom, fine hints of chocolate, toasted almond. The tannins are finely dry/extracted. Good length.
