The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers freshness, precision, juiciness, a fine tension as well as crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy raspberry, crunchy cherry and more slightly small berries associated with fine touches of zan, cassis/crunchy berries, spices as well as discreet hints of nutmeg (in the background), leather and an imperceptible hint of chocolate.
