Château de Malleret 2015 – Haut-Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a nice grain and a slight richness. It reveals notes of dark chocolate, blackberry and raspberry combined with slight notes of fresh cherry, fresh strawberry and a subtle touch of spices, a subtle toasted touch and an imperceptible touch of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, freshness, a slight tension, straightness, a good grain, a small precision and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, redcurrant and cherry associated with touches of wild strawberry as well as slight touches of chocolate and toasted touches. Tannins are fine and very slightly chewy. Good length.
