The nose is fresh, racy and reveals power, intensity and depth. There are notes of fresh/pulpy cherry, violet and slightly blackcurrant combined with fine touches of lily, lilac and a fine hint of pulpy/fresh berries and discreet/delicate hints of star anise. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, acidity, minerality, precision, finesse, purity of fruit, gourmandize and a nice definition and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/blushing blackberry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, violet, combined with hints of crunchy cherry, fresh lilac and a touch of star anise and chocolate. Good length. The tannins are mellow.
