The nose is fruity, a little tight and reveals a certain elegance, a pulpy fruit. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, wild strawberry and more lightly racy/almost iodine minerality combined with hints of violet, fresh black berries and a discreet hint of camphor, zan, and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers good definition, minerality, freshness, smoothness, some volume, a fine roundness, a fine acidic backbone, a fine crispness and a fine iodine side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, blackberry and, more lightly, crisp wild strawberry, combined with hints of iris, lily, fine iodised gravel, an imperceptible hint of sediment/variety, and a very discreet touch of zan. Good length. A slightly tight finish.
