The wine has a medium pale cherry red color. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is aromatic and fruity with notes of red fruits such as cherry. There is also a toasted, smoky aspect with delicate violet scents. With aeration, there is a light musk with a more intense smoky side. Spices appear like black pepper and tomato confit. The attack is aromatic, fresh with lovely notes of pepper as well as flowers such as rose, peony and violet. Rather blue fruits appear like blueberry and plum. The mid-palate presents an astringency with smooth tannins. The finish is subtle, discreet.
