The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry, mocha and fine notes of small berries associated with a discreet touch of cassis and a fine hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plum jelly, blackberry jam and slight notes of red fruit (discreet) associated with slight notes of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of tobacco, sweet spices and a touch cassis bud. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence.
