The nose is elegant, with a certain light power, fine intensity and fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet small notes of cubeb pepper, associated with fine touches of spice, clove as well as a hint of black tea and green pepper. The palate is nicely juicy and fruity, with minerality and gourmandise, a fresh frame and precision. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, plum small notes of juicy/fresh red berries, associated with fine hints of plum blossom, violet, as well as hints of spice, tobacco and a subtle hint almost of nutmeg. A hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence. Tannins are tasty and finely mellow. A fine hint of mocha/cocoa in the background. Beautiful gourmand persistence.
