It reveals notes of wilted rose petals, candied orange, sweet orange zest and slight hints of violet associated with touches of dried apple as well as a hint of lemon zest, delicate hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of crème brûlée. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juicy/fleshy fruit, precision, roundness, fat, volume, an acid frame, power in delicacy, a small chewiness as well as a beautiful and fine grain. On the palate, this Armagnac expresses notes of candied pear, candied apple and slight notes of orange zest associated with touches of dried zest, candied lemon, small hints of quenette, vanilla, pâtisseries (bring some gourmandize) as well as a hint of black pepper, toasted oak and roasted almond on the finish/persistence. A beautiful stretched finish.
