40% (barrel sample) The nose is elegant, airy, and offers pulpy fruit and a certain gourmandise. It reveals notes of quenette, dried orange and small notes of bright yellow peach associated with touches of crushed pear as well as fine hints of sweet kumquat, discreet hints of tobacco, gray pepper and a subtle hint of rancio. The palate is beautifully built, well-balanced and offers fruit, juiciness, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, accuracy, a nice fat as well as a certain creaminess. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of fleshy kumquat, fleshy/creamy nectarine and small notes of crushed pear associated with touches of Zante currant, a hint of tobacco, rancio as well as fine hints of dried almond, hazelnut, crushed yellow plum and a subtle hint almost of sweet pepper. Good length.
