Château de Lascaux – Les Nobles Pierres 2019 – Pic Saint-Loup

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration of the fruit and a slightly textured side. There are notes of violet, pulpy cherry and wild small red fruits associated with touches of badian, warm scrubland as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg, taosted and a very discreet almost iodine hint. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, a small tension, silkiness as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, laurel berries as well as a slight hints of liquorice stick, sage, cardamom and a very discreet almost smoke hint. Chewy and gourmands tannins. Freshness and beautiful work on the matter and on good bitterness. Good length.
