The nose is fruity, fresh, well-built and offers a fine flowery side as well as crunchiness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of strawberry flowers, small fleshy/crushed fruits as well as fine hints of vanilla, grey pepper, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, gourmandize, fullness, a certain finesse, suavity as well as juiciness and a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of fresh strawberry, strawberry flowers as well as fine hints of nutmeg, toasted, chocolate, a discreet hint of vanilla and crushed almond. Good length. A fine chew in the persistence/finish. Tannins are finely soft.
