The nose is aromatic and relatively fine. It reveals notes of blackberry, plum skin and slight notes of black cherry associated with a hint of cardamom as well as a discreet hint of blond tobacco and a slight/discreet hint of leather. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, relatively fresh, well-balanced, supple and offers suavity, a beautiful roundness as well as a small gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, plum and slight notes of cassis associated with discreet hints of raspberry/fresh strawberry, a discreet hint of chocolate, toasted oak as well as a very slight hint of vanilla and caramelization. Good length.
