On the palate, the wine is well balanced and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, gourmandise and acidity/freshness, density (freshness), depth and concentration. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fresh/charny red berries and more lightly bursting blackcurrant combined with hints of bursting blue plum, chocolate/cocoa, toastiness, bourbon vanilla bean, discrete hints of tobacco and a subtle hint of grey pepper (in the background). Good length. The tannins are present, massive, well conducted and offer a little polish. |
