Château de La Rivière 2018 – Fronsac

It reveals notes of blackberry, small black fruits, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small blue fruits, bright wild strawberry, lilac as well as fine hints of cardamom, black tea and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a fine/finely tight grain, an aerial side, a small concentration, a fine acidulous/full of length frame as well as a melodious side and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh cornflower, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of small bright blue fruits, small wild black berries as well as fine hints of graphite, cocoa, sugared mild tobacco and pepper (in the background). Tannins are precise, finely firm and very discreetly marked. Good length.
