Château de la Grenière – Cuvée de la Chartreuse 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity, suave and offers a fine concentration as well as a delicate floral side. It reveals notes of Bigarreau cherry, violet and small notes of bright small red fruits associated with a touch of blueberry, liquorice stick / zan as well as a hint of smoke, lilac and vanilla flowers. The palate is nicely mineral, fluid and offers a fine tension as well as a slightly tight tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of black cherry/morello cherry, fresh violet and small notes of fresh small fruits associated with touches of smoke, fresh almond and a hint of smoke. A very discreet good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
