The nose reveals good definition and lovely fleshy/ripe/juicy fruit. There are notes of bright cherry, fresh/crunchy blueberry and liquorice with hints of blackcurrant, strawberry, graphite, bourbon vanilla and a hint of toast and an imperceptible hint of bergamot. The palate is fresh, mineral and reveals juiciness, a certain elegance as well as a small acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses bright cherry, tart/fresh strawberry and more lightly juicy/acidic blackcurrant notes combined with touches of blueberry, lily, chocolate, a subtle hint of graphite and a very discreet hint of camphor and vanilla. Good length. The tannins are racy and mellow.
