The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers lots of fruit, gourmandise and a savory spiciness. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, fresh morello cherry, blueberry, black plum, crushed strawberry, blackberry and raspberry jam. We also find the freshness of herbs (peppermint, rosemary), a minty side as well as sweet spices (liquorice, cinnamon, cumin), cocoa powder, dark chocolate with mint and refined floral notes (lily, violet). On the palate, the wine offers juiciness and lightness (in a good way). It expresses notes of strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, Morello cherry, blueberry and wild strawberry, accompanied by a touch of bitter cocoa, spices (black pepper, liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg), peppermint and dried flowers (violets, cornflower). The tannins are young, gripping and a bit drying. The finish is quite persistent, with lively acidity, fruity flavors and good bitterness.
