Château de la Croix 2024 – Médoc

The nose offers indulgence in notes of juicy ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, wild raspberry, blackcurrant), a hint of licorice, sweet wild mint, vanilla and cocoa, a hint of coffee and violet. The palate expresses the bitterness and tartness of cranberries on the attack, then – notes of red cherry, raspberry, tart strawberry, as well as cranberries, wild cherry, the bitterness of coffee, cocoa and a spicy hint of licorice and pepper in the background. The tannins are finely chalky, quite solid, but not dry. Salivating acidity. Good persistence with sapidity and some complexity.
