The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers a fine concentration. There are notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more lightly concentrated strawberry combined with a hint of bright blackcurrant as well as fine hints of lily, graphite and discreet hints of star anise. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, freshness, crispness, energy and a tangy texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fresh violet/peony and more lightly fresh/crisp red berries combined with fine tonka bean and a subtle hint of star anise. Good length. Good work on the bitter taste.
