Château de Gironville 2020 – Haut-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and it offers little crunchiness, a certain power, a little depth and a good definition. It reveals the notes of cassis, red currants, blackberry, violet, lily, grey pepper, toast and caramelization. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, a good definition, a fine straightness, a good volume, a little rounded and gourmandize. The wine express the notes of cornflower, licorice, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of toasted almond. A little mellow on the palate. Good length. The tannins are precise and finely mellow, toasted hazelnut on the persistance.
