The nose is fruity and offers a certain aromatic richness, lovely fruit and a certain purity of fruit. There are notes of crunchy cherry, crunchy raspberry and slightly fresh/juicy violet plum combined with hints of liquorice stick, varietal and discreet hints of blackcurrant, lily and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, minerality, good definition, nice tension, pulpiness/richness and precision. On the palate this wine expresses fleshy/juicy cherry, violet and slightly crunchy blackberry notes combined with hints of red berries and fine points of racy minerality and fresh blond tobacco.
