Château de Francs – Les Cerisiers 2020 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

On the nose it is fruity with a good definition, ripe/bright fruit. Notes of bright cherry, bright raspberry and more lightly violet associated with bright plum as well as subtle hints of lily/rose, licorice and a discreet touch of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity with juiciness, suavity, roundness as well as a nice fat (in finesse), tension (in finesse), an airy character, a discreet tight berry and gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, blackberry and more slightly cassis combined with hints of pulpy violet plum, licorice stick, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of violet/rose and fresh pepper.
