CHÂTEAU de France 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

CHÂTEAU de France 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose presents a lovely racy, velvety grain, some depth, good definition and offers an airy side in its grain. It reveals notes of velvety, peppery and small notes of boysenberry, associated with touches of nutmeg, fine touches of small ripe wild red fruits, as well as fine hints of cinnamon and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, it offers a little freshness, juiciness, suppleness, a very finely tight mouth and a certain energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small juicy/bright red fruits, as well as fine hints of minerality, clove, nutmeg and crushed almond. Good length. The tannins are suave and sapid. A wine offering a silky mouthfeel and a nice little fat that coats everything.
