It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry associated with a touch of cornflower, Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced, delicate, silky and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, tension, juiciness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of crunchy wild raspberry associated with fine touches of cornflower, spices, zan, acidulous/crunchy small red berries as well as discreet hints of toasted/sweet spices and a very discreet hint of coffee (on the finish/persistence). Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring.
