It reveals notes of violet, pulpy/fresh blackberry, fresh purple plum, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of lily, crushed strawberry, hints of cuben pepper, star anis, sweet spices, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of bourbon vanilla pod and an imperceptible hint of nearly liquorish. The mouth is fruity, elegant, balanced, racy, all in subtility and offers richness (in delicacy), control, a certain power (in finesse), freshness, deepness, a nice multi-layer side as well as density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of fresh/fleshy raspberry associated with touches bright cherry, violet, racy minerality, hints of lilac, camphor, sweet spices as well as fine hints of fresh almond and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are precis, elegant, structuring, relatively fine and offers mellow. Good length and good persistence. A controlled wine and that offer a nice, stretched side/all in length.
