Lovely fruity nose, energetic, racy, elegant and offers a fresh creaminess, richness, a certain controlled power, an airy side, delicacy, a nice grain as well as a nice full side. We find notes of fresh blackcurrant, fresh pepper and small notes of small ripe/creamy black fruits associated with touches of roasted small fruits, cornflower, smoke as well as fine velvety hints, sense of place. (Mediterranean barrier) and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a nice freshness, juiciness, a nice energy, tangy, an airy side, depth, a nice suppleness as well as power and richness but all in delicacy. A 3-dimensional side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy Bigarreau cherry and small notes of small, bright black fruits associated with salty/iodine touches, bergamot, raspberry, small roasted fruits as well as discreet hints. toasted, chocolatey, warm varietal / Mediterranean barrier and subtle hints of infusion / bergamot (in the background).
