Château de Fargues 2015 – Sauternes

The nose is fruity and offers freshness, purity and richness. It reveals notes of yellow fruits and a touch of lemon, nectarine associated with a hint of Williams pear, honey, small notes of spice as well as a hint of candied citrus, botrytis and a discreet hint of gingerbread. The palate is fruity, beautifully balanced, quite powerful and offers richness, fat, fruity precision, depthness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pear in syrup and a touch of quince associated with a hint of candied lemon, pineapple, small notes of honey, slight notes of botrytis as well as discreet hints of Granny Smith apple, roasted pineapple, lemon and tarte Tatin on the persistence.
