The wine has a deep ruby color with purple hints. The nose is elegant, not very pronounced, but subtle and complex. It reveals notes of ripe black and red fruits (juicy red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, wild strawberry, black plum), complemented by sweet touches of raspberry and red currant jam. On the second nose, we can feel subtle notes of oak (from a well-managed maturation in barrels): very delicate toasted notes, the sweetness of vanilla and caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, clove and chocolate with mint. On the palate, the wine has a lot of freshness thanks to pure flavors of black fruits (black cherry, black plum, blueberry), a floral touch of peony and violet and herbal hints (peppermint, fresh aromatic herbs). The wine has a well-built and refined tannic structure: the tannins are powerful and grippy, still young, but fine. A long finish, juicy, fruity and a little jammy, balances the power of tannins. A balanced, complex and concentrated wine, with good aging potential, but already accessible in its youth.
