(Organic) The nose is fresh, racy and offers tension and fine power. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, violet and, more slightly, wild red berries combined with a hint of pepper, lily, fine hints of star anise and a discreet touch of cola and spice. The palate is juicy, fresh and offers minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness and a little stretch. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, morello cherry and a touch of fresh tobacco combined with hints of jammy wild red berries and fine cardamom, camphor and a subtle hint of vanillin (in the background). The tannins are fine and mellow.
